Domains with WordPress Premium

Last summer, I registered and mapped a custom domain name to my WordPress.com site. In addition, I purchased a “no ads” option. Recently, I decided to upgrade further with WordPress Premium, which offers both of those features, as well as several others.
My question is this: Soon, my domain name will expire. I have turned off “auto renew” in the belief that this feature is now covered by my active WordPress Premium account. Is there anything more I need to do to ensure that my site operates at without interruption? I’ve tried following instructions on the WordPress Premium page for adding a domain, but my current URL is already listed.
In short, I’m confused about how to activate the premium features I purchased.

There were a couple of things we needed to do to get your domain connected to your Premium subscription. I took care of that so you are all set until your Premium plan is up for renewal next March.
