  Hi,

  I purchases my domain through you guys and then had it transfer over to WIX. I thought I had to renew it through wix but i noticed now that it is through wirdpress. Anyway is it possible to get the $80 late renewal fee waived.

  No. WordPress.com does not set the renewal fee for domains purchased through them from wildwestdomains. wildwestdomains is the registrar sets the redemption fee which cannot be waived by wordpress.com.

  As timethief explained, the redemption fee for an expired domain is not set by us and we are not able to waive it.
