  Hey there, you’ll need a paid hosting plan to host a domain with us, but if you choose a yearly plan, the domain transfer is free:
  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  That can save you some money because it adds a year to your domain registration as well. And you can see our hosting pricing here:

  As for the domain, you will need to pay for renewal fees when that comes due. Most .com domains are $18/year including privacy. You can see full pricing here:
