Domian is locked after cancel

    My purpose was to cancel my subcription plan, but I cancelled my domian by mistake at the same time. Now I want to transfer the domian to my new wordpress site which hosted by Bluehost. But it said the domian is currently locked from transfer (Status clientTransferProhibited). How to get back my domain? xx

    Your domain will need to be unlocked and privacy removed for the transfer. You can read more about the transfer process here:

    Since you have canceled that domain the same day you registered it, it will be released within a week and made available for registration again from any registrar.

    thanks for the reply, it has been more than a week, but the domain still locked.

  • I see what happened, you actually did not cancel the domain the same day you registered it. You transferred it here, so there’s no release after five days like there would be with a new domain.

    When the domain was transferred here, we paid to have an extra year added to it. We’ll reach out with an invoice so you can cover those costs. Please update us here when it’s paid so we can add this back to your account.

    You might not be able to transfer it immediately, depending on the settings you used. You may be subject to a 60-day lock. But, once the domain is paid for and restored to your account, you can immediately point it to Bluehost so it can begin working there within a few hours rather than several weeks. Then you can transfer again if needed.

    I can’t find the invoice to pay since I canceled it by mistake last time. Can any staffs help to send again?

    I paid for the invoice already. How can I unlocked the domain and find the EPP Authorization code to transfer the domian to Bluehost?
