Domian mapping

  I am trying to pay for the domain mapping on my site this is normally £9 a year but wordpress is automatically directing me to upgrade to premium which I don’t want to do. Can you let me know why this is?

  Hi There,
  Accounts created after 2016 are only able to add a domain as part of a plan. Did your domain mapping expire? To my knowledge as long as the domain mapping existed prior and doesn’t expire it can be renewed for that price.

  You can however, map your domain using the Personal plan as well. Go to My Site ->Plans and select the Personal Plan there. Then you can add the mapping as part of that plan.

  Hi there,

  You don’t own any domain mapping upgrades on WordPress.com. Your domain mapping upgrade expired in November 2015, and it is no longer possible to add it back as a stand-alone upgrade. You will need to add one of our plans to add domain mapping again at this point, as @jenlynnemc explained above.
