  Hi, I followed the steps with no mistake but the button has code next to it.

  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  Please note that the HTML code that PayPal provides will not work on your free WordPress.com site. It will work if your site is upgraded to our Business Plan (or higher) but for free sites you will want to choose the Sharable Link option instead. You can see that in the screenshot here under Step 5:
