Donate button in Freshy theme widget

Hello. I have read the instructions and the forum threads for help. I want to add a PayPal Donate button to the widget sidebar of my Freshy theme.
Is it possible to add the image of the button (I got the code from the Support article), and how do you do it in a widget. I’ve tried both the Text widget and the Add an Image widget. I’m pasting the image code, and I’m pasting the link code, but nothing appears (except the code itself). How do you do it? I want the button in the sidebar all the time, not in the body of any particular single post. Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. If you follow the steps at http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/ to the letter, your PayPal code should look like this (and you can paste it in a text widget):
<a href="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?..."><img src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donate_LG.gif" alt="" border="0"></a>
If it looks different, or if it has a <form> tag somewhere, it means you missed a step and should try again. -
