I already paid to map the above domain. And I paid to upgrade to Premium. But Premium does not recognize donkian.jp and asks my to pay to map my domain.

Thank you. This is frustrating. I’ve received PayPal receipts for the payments for the domain mapping and for the upgrade to Premium. But WordPress does not recognize the domain or the upgrade.

It’s likely because of the domain extension. Staff will add a zone record as soon as they work their way forward to this thread and then you will be able to proceed with domain mapping.

I’ve mapped the domain for you. You’ll still need to do a few things:
1) Purchase the subscription here by renewing:
https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades2) Point the domain to our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com3) After giving that a few hours to take effect, set the domain as primary under https://wordpress.com/my-domains
I’ve checked your account and your previous payment attempts did not go through, but you should be good to go now.

Facebook has charged my credit card a $13 dollar fee for the domain and $99 fee for the upgrade. I’ve double-checked the billings.
Are you suggesting that I need to pay again for both?

There is definitely no need to pay for mapping again if you already purchased the subscription via the premium plan. Is the account you are contacting us from the same account you used to purchase the upgrades? I currently do not see any transactions under this account.

Yes.
I made the site mapping and upgrade purchases at the same time that I created this account.
I currently do not see any transactions under this account.

We seem to be getting closer, but we’re not there yet.
I get a “403 forbidden” error for donkian.jp.
Is this a problem with the DNS settings?
I’m still getting notices to the effect, “As explained during the purchase process, the last step requires you to change your domain name DNS settings to use:”
I’ve been unable, in my ignorance, to find anywhere to check or, if necessary, change the DNS settings. Please help.Thank you.

I can access https://donkianjp.wordpress.com/wp-admin/, but I cannot access https://donkian.jp/wp-admin/ As noted earlier, I cannot publish at donkian.jp (“403 forbidden”). Again, I thank you for any help you can provide as promptly as possible.

An update.
I finally figured out that I needed to go to my registrar’s website and change the DNS settings for my domain there. I’ve done that and hope that the change will take effect in due time.
