Don't care about spam. How do I email links to my posts?

People don’t look on social media sites for gloomy subjects like homelessness. Part of the benefit of releasing this book-length work serially is that I can keep it in people’s faces in a friendly way by emailing a link to each new page as it appears. So far, I haven’t found a way to do this. Suggestions?…

Are you asking how can I spam my followers?
There is no such direct messaging feature here. Followers are subscribers who provide an email address to receive your posts and that’s the only purpose you can use their email address for when they subscribe. They alone control the frequency of receipt of your posts and you are not in a position to spam their email addresses for any other reason. http://en.support.wordpress.com/followers/

If you would like a follow button to appear on the bottom right hand corner of your site for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts go to > Settings > Reading and scroll down to Follower Settings:
These settings change emails sent from your blog to followers.
Logged out users __ Show follow button to logged out users.Checking this will present a follow button to logged out users in the bottom corner of their screen.

I am asking how I can send individual emails to personal acquaintances.

There is no such direct messaging feature here.
It’s important for bloggers to recognize that when an email address is provided for a specific purpose, such as for receiving posts from a blog via a follow blog subscription, or for submitting a comment to a blog, that is the only purpose it is being provided for, and any additional use of it is unauthorized. In some countries, for example, Canada, it’s illegal to use an email address for any purpose other than the specific purpose it is provided for.
Wish I could thank you for your response but that won’t be happening. It takes the same amount of energy and intellect to choose to find offense in words that were not intended to be offensive as it does to offend me with your ridiculous accusation.

If you want to spam your friends in your address book – just send them a regular email with a link – but as @TT has noted above – you can’t send unsolicited email from your blog here
