Don’t have access to old email, wordpress bill on credit card
-
Hello,
I tried to build a blog a few years back wth WordPress. I used my old university email which by now I don’t have access to, and I can’t log in to my account.
Today, I was billed by wordpress and I am not sure why, is there an option to change the email associated with the blog’s account (It was a paid subscription but I remember I canceled it)? I would like to have access to the account and make sure that the subscription was in fact canceled.
If you need any proofs that about the account and to verify that I am the owner please let me know what you need, obviously I will share it privately with your team.
Please advise.
Thanks,

Hi there!
I took a look, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise here.
If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.
The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXIf the charge on your bank statement does not follow that format, the charge was not made here at WordPress.com.
I hope that helps!
