Dont know how to work it the way i want

Hello, I just started my free wordpress account and i dont know how to get it to do what i want or if it is even possible. What i want is to slowly write a story and add to is as i can. So i have two posts currently my opening scene and chapter one. I need to be able to edit chapter one to add to it but i want the opening scene above chapter one when people come to thedragoneseyegames.wordpress.com so that they can read it more naturally from top to bottom. Is this possible? Please help.

Hi. I’m not a WP staff or volunteer, but I wanted to respond. :)
According to this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/ “By default, WordPress.com blogs display posts in reverse chronological order on the home page with the latest post at the top. There isn’t a way to display posts in chronological order, but you can mark some posts as Sticky to make them appear above the other posts.”
However, one idea you could use is instead of blog Posts, post your story chapters as Pages, and set the order that you want them to appear. So that at the top of your blog, there’s a row of links that says “Chapter 1”, “Chapter 2”, etc. in the order that you want.
You may also be interested to look at Custom Menus (http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/), so that your chapters can appear in a drop-down, if there’s too many of them. There’s a bunch of other useful suggestions in that link too.
