Don't receive notification e-mail with new comment on page

  When comments are placed on the page http://colorwave600.blogs.oce.nl/colorwave-experts/ (domain http://knikkerprinter.wordpress.com) I don’t receive any notification e-mail. I have checked the option “Sent me an e-mail when someone places a comment” (Dutch version of it) in the “Settings | Discussion” menu, but apparently this doesn’t work. Is this because it’s a page instead of a post? How can this be solved? Me and my colleagues would like to be able to respond as quick as possible to questions stated on this page.

  Hi Niels,

  Are you able to receive email notifications for comments left on other posts and pages? Or are you not receiving any notifications?

  Could you please check your spam/junk mail folders to make sure emails from WordPress.com aren’t getting caught in there?

  Hi Evarlese,

  I checked those options indeed. Nothing got stuck in spam folder for sure and I did receive notifications before. This was a couple of weeks ago, do I need to check those options again maybe?

  I checked also with another colleague and he received email notifications for comments on other blogposts, but not for this specific page..

  They should be going out to the email address at in Settings -> General.

  Is that the one you’re watching?

  Yes, my colleagues address is filled in over there but I checked with her. Actually she was the one who reported the problem..

  No. We get a notification e-mail when messages are blocked and sent to spam folder. So we would have known that..

  No, I mean are you sure that the new comment email notifications are not being caught as spam in her email?

  Yes, she has checked and didn’t find anything in her spam folder.

  I changed the address to my own email address and got the notification email of “changing my address”. After that I posted a comment on the specific blog page (http://grootformaat.blogs.oce.nl/grootformaat-experts/) but now I didn’t receive any notification email. How is this possible?

  Okay, could you send us an email with both email addresses that aren’t receiving the notifications? I’d like to pass this information onto some of our team members to see if there’s anything on our end that stands out.
