Don't see my custom (premium theme Portfolio) theme options for posts in new dashboard

  Don’t see my custom theme options for posts in new dashboard. Will randomly be redirected back to the old dashboard and there I can see the Portfolio Theme options for post (add as a portfolio item).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @jensdcali, some themes don’t support the new dashboard. But you can still access /wp-admin if needed. Just type /wp-admin after your site address.

  The new dashboard is really not user friendly. Seems to me that it should work for all available WordPress themes. From what I see in online discussions, not many people are a fan of the new interface. Any chance you guys will make it more functional or just go back to the older version? In any event, thanks for the follow-up!

  @jensdcali if the theme was created before the new dashboard it may have features not supported in the new dashboard.

  The new admin area was written from scratch. It isn’t just a new look and feel. It’s entirely different programming meant to make it WordPress more accessible on different platforms (phones, tablets, etc.) without confusing new users with so many different interfaces.

  We are continuing to add features, but you’re welcome to access wp-admin when it’s needed.
