I don’t see my widget when I go to the I like feature on another person’s blog.

Why would you expect to see your widget appearing when you click the “like” button on anyother blogger’s blog? Which widget? There is no widget involved when it comes to clicking a like button either at the end of a post or on the Admin bar. See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/likes/#how-to-like-a-post

Do you mean your Gravatar image in the posts that you have liked? If so, not everyone has the ‘likes’ enabled, so they don’t show, even though others can still ‘like’ the posts. Have you got your URL linked to your Gravatar?

There are also Posts I Like widgets, Blogs I Follow widgets and My Community widgets. Perhaps one of those widgets is what you are referring to but as thegiddygoat states not all of us use them. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/07/17/more-widgets-for-your-blog/I’m a minimalist blogger who wants a blog that loads quickly and doesn’t look cluttered due to a sidebar full of distracting tat, so I don’t use any of these three widgets, and I’m strongly inclined towards eliminating the “like” button from my posts.

And also @rite i notice you are still using the default category ‘uncategorised’ i would change that if i were you, perhaps change it to ‘Art’ (but not if you have ‘art’ as a tag) that would be more helpful for you in terms of Google search and the WP Reader. This is your second thread about this topic, so you must be eager to get an answer, perhaps you could give us a clue as to what you are referring to about the widget, and then we could perhaps help you.

Yes, when I had the other picture that looks like a flower and I responded to someone who liked a painted I posted, I always saw that small picture in the I like with other people’s photos. When I changed to another picture on Gravatar, it no longer appears when I press I like. So far, everyone has that feature. Thanks for the reply. Silvia

Believe me, I have tried to figure out how to get rid of uncategorzed and write something else, but I can’t seem to know how to go about it. Thanks for caring and replying. Silvia

When you change a gravatar image the change does not happen instantly. The images are cahed and they take time to appear. Usually they change is first noticed here in the support forums. If you chnaged yours over a week ago then contact Gravatar support http://en.gravatar.com/site/contact-us/
Note that all of us can choose whether or not we wish to display Avatars/Gravatars on our blogs. That’s done on this page > Settings > Discussion scroll down to “Avatars”
