Don't see the word sidebars on the widget page
-
Hi, I am having another problem. When I go to Dashboard then appearance then widgets and the widget page opens
on the far right where you drop the widgets, it does not say Sidebar as it does in all the tutorials. It says primary widget area secondary widget area, feature widget area etc. When I drop the widgets in those they still do not ever show up on my page. Not sure what the problem is.
Any suggestions. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Those you list are all for wisgets. However, widgets only display data that has been created elsewhre. So, for example, you create Categories in your dashboard, http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#adding-categories-via-your-dashboard
but you have not created a post assigned Categories to it and published the post.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#adding-categories-with-the-categories-module
The Categories widget has no data to display. The Recent Posts widget has no data to display.
Also note that each widget must be clicked and then inside it the “save” and “close” must be clicked when positioning widgets in sidebar and/or footer widget areas. -
@bethkoenig: You would see “Sidebar” if the theme you’re using had only one sidebar. Coraline has multiple layouts (selected in Appearance > Theme Options) and multiple sidebars. See here:
