Don’t want comments under “about”, but under post.

    I’m a novice…the comments I have received are on my about page, and I want them to be under the post. Is there a way to move them, with everything included (their pic..). Thanks

    maybe nobody clicked on the Post title – the opening page does not display the comment box (standard behavior I think) – try the “more” command to only show the first paragraph so your visitors need to click on the more to read the whole thing and then they will see the comment box like I did.

    Wondering if there is another way to do this other than using the “more” feature. Also, how do I move the comments I already have to the post?

    I think you will need to do a cut and paste – you could put all three comments into one comment and do some simple formatting to separate the comments – this is what I did when I consolidated my site.

    To move the comments:
    1) Dashboard sidebar > “Comments”: copy comments and commenters’ data (nick, website etc.), paste into a simple text editor.
    2) Log out, submit the comments as your own.
    3) Log back in, go to “Comments” again, edit newly submitted comments to restore original commenters’ data; then delete original comments.

    To prevent that from happening again, edit your About page and deactivate commenting (page editor > “Discussion” module).
