don’t want login to direct to dashboard

  I apologize if this has been answered before, but I have looked and can’t find it. When my users login, I want them to be directed straight to the blog, not to the dashboard. Any ideas??

  That’s pretty much how it is when you log into WordPress.com. I’m not aware of any other way.

  I am hosting my wordpress from my computer, so the people are not part of wordpress.com, they are simply visitors to my website. Does anyone know where the redirect is coded in?? If so maybe i can change it to point to my blog instead.

  If your blog is not on WordPress.com then you are in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.org. They work differently and we won’t be able to help you here. This is the thread that explains that;
