Dont want my featured image within my post but i want it on my blog

  is there a way to stop the featured image from appearing within the blog … because i embed a video at the top of the blog and it looks silly with a image and video underneath

  The site is marked as coming soon or private right now, which means I cannot see the website to advise further on what you can do. Would you be open to temporarily marking it as public?
