Dotcom problem – can't use blog!

  I recently created a website through wordpress.com but am now locked out of my site as it’s added, “dotcom” to the url and says my blog no longer exists: http://ginnyvoigtdotcom.wordpress.com/

  How can I resolve this and continue working with my blog?

  Your blog still works perfectly fine over here. Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies?

  If you want to register a domain with your blog, go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there. Also, you may want to review the following guide before going through the process.

  Thanks for reply. Problem still not resolved. I can access my blog but cannot get into the dashboard at all and can therefore not use it. Can you please assist further? Is it possible that I may have clicked on an option to buy space and then not followed through with it and this is now the problem? Can you guide me as to how to ‘clear cache and cookies’?

  “ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
  Do you want to register ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com?”

  Actually, it doesn’t look like you’ve registered any blogs with your account, and http://ginnyvoigtdotcom.wordpress.com/ belongs to an entirely different username.

  If you’d like a blog, I recommend clicking the link when you go to http://ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com/

  Thanks for the prompt replies. I actually do have two separate WP accounts. One is ginnyvoigt and the other is vmvoigt. Can you please check if the vmvoigt is connected to the ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com blog so that I can resume using that one? It states that it’s reserved and can’t be registered, so perhaps that’s reserved by that username? It’d be great to continue using that original URL.

  ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com is reserved for your ginnyvoigt account. If you’d like the blog, I recommend clicking the link when you go to http://ginnyvoigt.wordpress.com/ while logged in as ginnyvoigt.
