Dots on slideshow images and removing featured image

  Hi there,
  Reaching out because we recently noticed that some white dots have appeared on the slideshow of our homepage. We can’t quite figured out how to remove them. Can you please help?

  Additionally, I would love to know how to remove the ‘featured image’ from the top of each individual blog post. Is that possible? The crop and format of the image looks really bad.
