double blog name

I have a user name and password and seem to have two blogs under it. One of the blogs is the one i’ve been working on and want to keep. i don’t know how i got the other one but it does have a theme on it but nothing else, except it’s under my username. if i delete this blog will it delete my username and my working blog?

No deleting one blog will not delete the other. However, I would advise that you keep the second one and mark it “private” to keep out search engines. There is no requirement that you actually have to use the other blog and there are benefits from having a second blog. For example, it can be used to test theme changes and other sidebar changes you might want to make to your “primary” blog. Another example is that it can be used as a “drawing board” for new creative ideas. As the blog is “private” you also have the option of using it to communicate with a small group of selected invited users.
