Double 'home' page!?
-
Hello everyone, I don’t know what I’ve done!
For some reason I have 2 pages called ‘Home’. The first one has nothing on it and I can’t see it on the Dashboard, and the second one has my latest blog post, which is what I want to be displayed when someone goes to my site.
How do I get rid of the double home page?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It appears as if you made a “posts” page and then set that at settings > reading but you did not also set a static front page for your site.
I’m a little confused, so perhaps you can explain what you are trying to accomplish and then we can get things taken care of for you.

Yes, I made a separate page for my blog posts, but decided that I didn’t like it as not many people were clicking on it.
So I thought it would be simple to just change the reading settings back to posting the new posts onto the home page, but then I couldn’t find a home page listed so I made a new one…and now there are two!
Does that help you understand my problem more clearly? -
Go back to settings > reading and click the radio button to the left of “Your latest posts” and then save your changes. Next, go to pages > all pages and either delete the “home” page you created or set it back to draft status and everything should return to normal and all your posts will show up on the regular main “home” page.
