double image

  I need help the image I set for the featured image is showing up twice on the post. If i remove the featured post then both images disappear. I tried googling before hand and the closet answer I found was removing the line of code get_the_post_thumbnail from the theme files, which solved the of double image. It also created a new problem with making the featured image super small.

  From what you’re saying, your WordPress theme probably is displaying the image on the content+displaying the featured image (same image) on the post page too.

  If you can share your WordPress site link, I can have a look at it and suggest further.

  thanks for replies. I have figured it out. The theme I randomly downloaded was causing the problem. I was going to switch the theme after the testing anyways. I just switched the theme it solved the problem.
