double payment for the same domain

  I think I bought yesterday the renewal of the domain http://www.agriturismoipitti.com
  Please confirm that this is true, because I received today a mail from a domain register company called tuonome.it where I was registered last year that asks me money to renew the same domain http://www.agriturismoipitti.com
  I don’t want to let the domain expire, but I also don’t want to pay twice for the same domain.

  Hi there, you renewed your domain mapping yesterday for $13. The domain mapping upgrade links your custom domain to your WordPress.com site.

  The domain itself is registered elsewhere, not through WordPress.com, and expires on May 15. It should be renewed through your registrar to keep it active.
