Double Picture on Post Top and Links not working and showing W on links on top

    Please help, My picture on my post is showing twice and there are 9 w on my post. A friend is pointing this out..and also some of the links on top do not work. Please do look into this, Thanks, Rita

    Hi Rita, I’m happy to help.

    To fix the double-image issue you have two options:

    – Go to My Site > Design > Customize > Content Options. Under Featured Images, take the checks out of Single Posts and Pages.

    OR

    – Edit each post, set a featured image, then remove the copy of that featured image from the post. (Personally I think the first option is much easier!)

    To fix the “Ws” across the top, please go back to Customize > Menus. Click on Locations and choose your Social Links menu.

    Since the social links menu is supposed to display links to your Twitter profile, Facebook page, and you don’t have a menu link that created right now, please change that option from “Primary” to “– Select –” so that the social links menu won’t show up at all.

    If you do want to use a social links menu, please create a *new* menu, and then add links to your Facebook page, twitter profile, etc. Then save it, and check “social menu” for its location. That way the icons will change to a twitter bird, a Facebook F, etc.
