there are several places where we can insert pictures on our blog posts. As I could see on you site, most of your blog posts have picture attached as:
1. Featured images (https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/)
and
2. Image in the blog post body / content (https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/adding-images-to-posts-or-pages/)
As a result, when we are on your home page (which displays your latests blog posts in full length) we can see the picture twice for each blog post. The first image is the featured image and the second one is the image which has been added to blog post body itself. :)
Here’s what can be done about it:
Instead of displaying blog posts on the front page in their full length, you can add the More Tag (https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/) to you blog posts. This tag will make sure that only blog post excerpts are shown on your latests blog posts page (front page).
Just make sure that images in your blog posts are located below the More Tag. :)
Please let me know if this answered your question.
Thanks! :)

Hi bloggoergosumblog,
Whenever I insert a picture in an article of my blog, the picture appears twice.
As @ivanottinger mentioned, the images on your blog are currently inserted in two places: in the post content and as a featured image.
You can prevent the featured image appearing on your posts page by following these steps:
- Go to My Sites > Themes > Customise
- Click on Content Options
- Go to the Featured Images section
- Untick the option for Display on blog and archives
- Click Save & Publish
Once the changes have been saved, featured images will not be displayed on your posts page.
Let me know if that does what you are looking for.
Thanks!
