Double pictures

  When I post a picture, I see one. But, when I publish, there are two pictures on my blog. Please help. :)

  Hi esltiger,

  So if I understand you correctly you are setting a featured image for your posts, and are you also adding the image directly into the post itself? This would cause duplication when you publish it – the featured image will always display so you can remove the image from the post.

  Alternatively, you may have an option in your theme to deselect featured images (try looking for a ‘Theme Options’ option under Appearance in the Dashboard (esltiger.wordpress.com/wp-admin), or ‘Content Options’ under Appearance and then Customize).

  It looks like you are using the MistyLook theme? From what I can see that theme is discontinued so information about it is hard to find!

  Hi Wilhelmina – try opening your Customizer‘s Content Options panel and in the Featured Images section uncheck the box next to “Automatically use first image in post.”
