Double Post
-
I have the theme Nishta and every time I or anyone else clicks on one of my photos it brings them to another post (on my blog)! Named the number/name of the photo (example DCIM546). You can’t find these posts until you click on it and they don’t register as a post in the POSTS section of the dashboard. Everyone is commenting on those and not on the real post! How do I stop these double posts from happening?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Those are not posts per se. They’re called “attachment pages”. If you are using a gallery and want to disable those (so that the images link to the image only), please read this useful FAQ prepared by a fellow forum volunteer.

Thanks, I think I figured it out by deleting the link in the edit area for a photo, hope it works!

Sorry guys, the OP’s photos are individually inserted, not galleries.
@camerapictures: You just have to make your images non clickable – see here:

But it seems you figured this out.Now what you need to improve is the size of the files you upload and insert. You’ve been uploading unnecessarily large ones (the one I checked is 3072px wide). For future posts, better make copies of your files, downsize them in an image editing application to the right width for the theme you’re using, and upload and insert those copies. This way you save loading time and storage space, and you get better quality too. See here:
