Double posts received by followers from one published post

  I’ve had two comments already one from the weekend and one today. So I think there might actually be an issue either with my settings or their settings. One follower just told me that my post on Mini Haul, And the winner is, are both coming up as double posts. Can you tell me what could be causing this? I’m not sure what to tell them at this point. I don’t want them being bugged with double posting when I’m not doing it deliberately.

  Howdy,

  Do you mean your visitors are receiving emails with double posts (or multiple emails with the same post), or that there are two of the same posts showing up on your blog?

  For both of the posts you mentioned, there aren’t any doubles on your blog.

  Hi Matt! I just found out that it’s the WP Reader that’s showing up double posts. Just did an experiment and every time I update a post, it will show up the post twice. Not good. No wonder my WP Reader followers are getting blogged* up about it.

  Hi,
  Thanks very much. I will look out for it. Can you please explain what the issue was? I think my readers need to know this, too, just in case they encounter the same problem with their blogs.

  Without getting too crazy with technical stuff, the Reader was publishing two feeds for your blog – one from sweetjellybean.com and one from sweetjellybean.wordpress.com.

  If your readers run into it with other blogs (or their own blogs), they’ll need to contact us so we can get it fixed up.
