Double title on Search Widget / Small flickr widget
-
I’m designing a blog for the university’s newspaper although I am having some problems.
1) I wanted the search to bar to be titled as “Search the Rattler” but when I do that another title appears right under “Search” … How do I removed the second title named “Search”?
2) The flickr widget I tried to add is too small, is there a way to make it bigger?
Thanks for helping
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. The search widget in vigilance by default has its own title built in (search). When you add a title of your own, you get the double title. I admit this is a little bizarre, and you might want to contact staff directly and ask them to remove the hard-coded title. You can always edit the widget and remove the title you added.
2. It appears that the flickr widget for vigilance was sized for the half-width sidebars. Again, this is something you will have to contact staff on since we have no way of changing that.

FWIW-I think that is the standard width for the WP.com flickr widget. I’m using Pressrow and it’s the same width as the one on rattlernews.
You might want to try the badge at Flickriver and use the code in a Text Widget. http://www.flickriver.com/
