doubt of a beginner on web hosting

    dear all, i had domain purhcased from godaddy.com , it is mallinathhemadi.com , hosted on profreehost.com and as i am beginner not aware of computer languages started this to learn. initially built few pages ,, now when i am trying to view or edit is showing

    so please suggest should i continue on profreehost for hosting or should i change , and when i logged into this wordpress.com the message coming is https://wordpress.com/start/domains/use-your-domain/en

    is it a hosting plan or a domain plan

    please let me know what should i do

    For better understanding, let me tell something about WordPress.
    WordPress is free and open-source software which can be used to create a website on almost any server. In your case on GoDaddy server. So users who have WordPress installed, normally use WordPress.org community forum for help: https://wordpress.org/support/forums.
    On the other side, WordPress.com is a platform, which can host your website (built on modified WordPress software), give you hassle free, secure, fast, reliable website and support if some help is needed.

    is it a hosting plan or a domain plan

    WordPress.com offers hosting which is included into these plans, even a free plan gives you a hosting and 3GB space, subdomain name (like your-website.wordpress.com), SSL certificate and much more.
    If you want, you can transfer or map your current domain name mallinathhemadi.com to WordPress.com, that is not a problem. But custom domain names are not included into the paid plans. The good news is that with a paid plan, you can get a free domain registration (or transfer) for one year.
