doubts about premium plan

Hi! We have a hosted wordpress blog and would like to migrate to premium plan for $99 a year, but we have these doubts:

    1. how to migrate our posts? Is it possible?
    2. we are using a custom theme. We have installed it. Is it possible to do this in premium plan? Or only use your themes?
    3. Is it possible to install plugins? We use a plugin for feeds and other stuff.
    4. and about security concern? do you take care of it?
    5. do you take care about version upgrades?

    Thanks
    Luiz

    1. how to migrate our posts? Is it possible?

To move your site from a WordPress.org instance to WordPress.com, please follow the steps in this guide:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-from-wordpress-org

    2. we are using a custom theme. We have installed it. Is it possible to do this in premium plan? Or only use your themes?

Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software.

On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. You can read more about customizing the appearance and theme of your blog on WordPress.com here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

We offer over 210 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes and filter them by specific criteria here:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/

You can also post suggestions for new themes we might add on our public user forum:

    3. Is it possible to install plugins? We use a plugin for feeds and other stuff.

WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. Chances are, the feature you are looking for is already there! You can search our support site via this link:

Alternatively, if you tell me a little more about your goals, I can try to help you find the closest solution.

For any features on WordPress.com, the support page will explain how to set it up.

WordPress.com does not offer the option to install third-party plugins. If you would like more control over plugins and the option to install your own, a WordPress.org setup would be the best solution for you.

This page explains the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in more detail, if you’re interested:

    4. and about security concern? do you take care of it?

We take care of security for you:

Keep Your Site Safe and Secure

    5. do you take care about version upgrades?

On WordPress.com, you always have the latest version of WordPress.

If you have additional questions, please let us know :-)
