Dowloaded a Theme Outside of WordPress

Okay.. So I downloaded a theme outside of WordPress. It came in a folder and it is in my dowloads folder. The format of the codes are in folders, etc. How do I activate the theme without having to open every single folder and copying and pasting the codes (because that is not working either!). Thank you for the help!

Take it back and get a refund if you are keeping your blog hosted here at WordPress.com.

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes, create child themes or our own themes or edit templates.

There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

@paulinaday, will one of the themes at http://theme.wordpress.com/ work for you instead of the one you downloaded? Do you need help picking a theme?
