dowloaded a wordpress template what do I do now

Ok, I’m a new kid in town… who’s excited to start blogging, I downloaded a cool wordpress template, and thought to “simply” downloaded it on wordpress. Wrong… I have no clue what to do. I did upgrade to change my presentation but seriously.. I only know how to write and blog.. please help ..

Are you hosted here on wordpress.com or another host? If it is another host you need to ask over in http://wordpress.org/support/ and maybe check out http://codex.wordpress.org/ . If you do have a blog here on wordpress.com, there is no access to “adding” downloaded themes but only access to change the stylesheet via the CSS Upgrade, but it is not supported and usually recommended to those that really know CSS.
