'Down Arrow' Symbol Against Some Posts in Stats

I’m not concerned but am curious about why, when I view my stats page, some of the posts appear with a little ‘down arrow’ against them some days? Anyone know what it means?

Please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

Actually, this sounds shameful, but I’m not going to be able to log on for a week now and am going to bed in a few minutes – I should really have asked next week but curiosity got the better of me tonight! Very bad mannered of me really :-(

Just one more point though – there’s an example of the arrow I mean to the left of the ‘Putting the PUSH… Bendronaig Bothy’ post about a third of the way down the stats page…

Hi there,
I’m not familiar with the organization of your particular site, but that usually indicates that the second one, the one with the down arrow, is nested within or underneath the first one in some way whether by design or through links.

Ah – that’s an interesting answer – I never thought of that. I’ll have a look over the next few days as it could well mean that.

I get the arrows too. But they are not related to “nesting” as mine are random. I wonder if they indicate that people are on the pages in question at that time?

That’s not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We do not provide support for WordPress.org installs here. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs here and no others.WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

After studying it for quite a while now, I’m pretty convinced that ‘almightywp’ has pretty much hit the nail on the head. I think it’s when people access those pages from my ‘archives’ page rather than go straight into a post. Thanks for the replies all :-)
