Down-scrolling Parallax Home Page: Possible Themes??

  Hi guys,

  I’d like to set up a website. I want it to have a down-scrolling parallax home page exactly like the following website: http://www.danimantis.com

  I have spent literally dozens of hours the last few weeks looking for themes compatible with wordpress.com and wordpress.org, and the only one I have found that seems to have the desired functionality is the photome theme.

  However, because I am a dunce in these matters, I don’t know if there are any other themes with such a functionality. There must be, right??

  If anyone could give me the heads up, I would be deeply thankful.

  Hi Bryan, I would suggest checking out Harmonic, which has a parallax design. The Harmonic Theme Showcase page has a good bit of information on setting it up.

  Hi thesacredpath,

  Thank you for the information. We have very clear ideas in mind of what we’d like — like danimantis.com or an animated grid plus other features too. It’s just a matter of finding a theme which is properly supported which we can actually make work!

  The theme looks good. I’ll bear it in mind, definitely!
