Downgrade my plan but keep my domain

  Hi,

  I am currently using “premium plan” via wordpress.com but i would like to change to wordpress.org in order to be able to have different plug-ins and edit the website in any form i want. I would like to keep my domain name but i probably would need to change my current host to other host company right?

  If this is the case, what can i do? Do i need to downgrade to “Free plan”?
  If so, how about all my video and picture that doesn’t support in free plan. will it be lost? – Is there anyway to save them?

  Lastly, if I cancel my domain name registeration now, will it be possible to use it again? (eg. via other host/domain company?) If i can use it again, how long will it take for settlement? and re-registeration?

  Your content will always be freely hosted at minjiya.wordpress.com.

  Your WordPress.com Premium Plan is valid through 2015-12-01, but if you’d like it removed now, I can help you with that.

  Finally, your custom domain, minjiyaaa.com, was already canceled and appears to be available for registration, once again.

  Instead, can i upgrade to wordpress.com Business plan?
  I know the first year gets $100 off. If i upgrade now, how much balance do i need to pay?

  Also, could you confirm that I can get another free domain if I upgrade to Business plan?

  Yes, i have done that. I still had nearly 9-10months of premium plan since I upgraded from premium to business plan.

  So i guess i don’t get downgrade to premium? i realized that I’m in basic plan.
