Hi there,
One thing to be aware of is that the Business plan is required in order to be able to upload and use 3rd party plugins and themes. Because of this, in order to downgrade to a lower level plan the following items will need to be removed from your site
Plugins:
– Blockspare
– Everest Forms
– Latest Posts Block Lite
– Magic Content Box Lite
– WooCommerce
– Yoast SEO
– WP Post Author
– SmushThemes:
– CoverNews
– HardNewsAre you sure you wish to proceed and remove these themes/plugins from your site? Please also note that any data associated with these plugins (such as WooCommerce products for example) will also be removed since they cannot exist without the plugin.
If you prefer to keep your site as-is, you are encouraged to upgrade to the Business plan again, which will allow you to reactivate all plugins and themes that are currently deactivated due to the previous Business Plan having expired.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hello there,
The themes found here https://wordpress.com/themes are the ones that can be used.
And I’m not sure if I’m using those plugins?
At the moment, as the business pan is expired, these plugins and a third party themes can not be used.
Please advise on how you wish to proceed.

Please allow me to downgrade. It’s merely a cost thing. I can’t afford the business plan currently. But still need to retain my site so I’ll have to adapt it.

At the moment because your business plan is expired your plugins and 3rd party themes have been disabled, so at the moment your site looks very much like it would if it were on the Premium plan.
From there you would be able to choose from our pre-installed themes here if you wanted to change the look of your site: https://wordpress.com/themes
Downgrading a business site (and removing plugins and themes) is a destructive process and it can lead in lost content. We will do our best to minimize any losses but I wanted to advise you of that before I proceed.
Since you are clear that you want to downgrade, I have started that process. I will update you here when it is complete so you can then add the Premium plan to your site. Thanks for your patience!

Hello there,
Posts and pages can be maintained after the downgrade if you need them to be.
Would you like to proceed?
Many thanks.

Hi again,
I have downgraded your site from our business hosting, as well as removed all 3rd party plugins and themes.
So what has happened to all my previous posts? THere’s only the 3 original pages?
During the downgrade process it will appear that your posts are missing, but you can see here now that it’s complete they should all be listed: https://wordpress.com/posts/
You are also welcome to complete your purchase here: https://wordpress.com/checkout/screenonenet.wordpress.com
You will see I added a domain connection for screen-one.net in your cart (the previous connection expired with the Business plan) and after you complete your purchase you can go here to set screen-one.net as your primary site address: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/screenonenet.wordpress.com
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
