Downgrade plan + Refund

Hello. I am SUPER unhappy about how my relationship with your company has started off. WHY do you advertise a monthly fee when you bill for 12 MONTHS?!? That isn’t clear at all to the customer clearly! I can’t afford the amount that was taken out and need to arrange to either cancel completely or downgrade my plan and I need a refund IMMEDIATELY!

Who exactly did you pay? The site linked to this account is actually hosted at BlueHost, not WordPress.com.
If you did buy anything here at WordPress.com as well as BlueHost you can apply for a refund here (within 30 days for plans, 96 hours for domains) at

PS: I don’t find “per month, billed annually” ambiguous.
