    Hi,

    Hi there,

You can cancel plan from Manage Purchases
and click on the plan you want to cancel. You should see a button called “Cancel subscription” at the bottom of the page. Click on it to cancel.

You can read more about cancellation on this page:

    Manage Your Purchases

Note that refunds are governed by terms on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

thanks for the info. So once the subscription is cancelled, Should the blog be available as a free plan under the URL enbuscadelvalleencantado.blogspot.com ?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Now your site enbuscadelvalleencantado.blogspot.com is using the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com.

    Name Servers
    ns1.google.com
    ns3.google.com
    ns4.google.com
    ns2.google.com

If you want this enbuscadelvalleencantado.blogspot.com to be hosted with WordPress.com (transferring or mapping domain) you need to have upgraded plan. Free plan will not allow you to do so.

    Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion , I meant enbuscadelvalleencantado.wordpress.com

So what I would like is to downgrade from paid plan that I have right now to free plan under enbuscadelvalleencantado.wordpress.com

    Thanks.

Hi there, do you still need help with this? It looks like enbuscadelvalleencantado.wordpress.com doesn’t yet exist and the domain at
    enbuscadelvalleencantado.com is connected to loquerealmenteimporta.wordpress.com

I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention and assistance. Thanks for your patient while they get back to you.

  • Unknown's avatar

I am fine sticking to loquerealmenteimporta.wordpress.com for the website to run on a free plan. Should I just cancel it and I would be able to access from there?

    Thanks.

  • Good morning folks :)

enbuscadelvalleencantado – Yes, you can just continue to use the free site as justjennifer has mentioned. In order to make changes we need to hear from you under the appropriate account. enbuscadelvalleencantado.com is not associated with the account you’re using in the forums at this time. Just sign in to the other account and write back to me here.

Another thing to consider, is that removing that domain enbuscadelvalleencantado.com, should be considered permanent. Once it enters in to the cancellation process you have effectively forfeited ownership of it. Please be certain that you have no intentions to use it again in the future before making that decision.

    Hi,
I am not sure why this is so complex, but I don’t have access to any other account at the moment but @enbuscadelvalleencantado. Can we switch from paid plan to free enbuscadelvalleencantado.wordreference.com ?
If so, you can go ahead, I don’t need the .com domain anymore.

    Thanks.

  • enbuscadelvalleencantado, that is possible but we do need to hear from the correct user. Otherwise any random person could come in and request changes to someone else’s account, simply by claiming they are the owner. We have no proof right now that you are the account owner.

    So, please log out here:
    https://wordpress.com/me/account

Then log back in using the email address that gets notifications, has receipts, etc. Do you have access to that email address currently? If you do you can reset the password if needed. If you do not, please let us know so we can help you recover access:

    Hi,
I only have access to @enbuscadelvalleencantado , and this is the account that I would like to downgrade. This account has the right to cancel the plan, payments…. Which account do you expect me to log in? I don’t want to request a change on somebody else account, I just want to apply changes on @enbuscadelvalleencantado which is the one that I am logged in as.

    Thanks

it looks like we are not understanding each others…anyway …. what is going to happen when I stop paying the renewal of my plan? will the blog go away? will it be downgraded automatically? Maybe this way it is easier.

    Cheers.

    Hi enbuscadelvalleencantado,

I’m just summarising all the information in this thread so you have in one reply for easy reference.

I only have access to @enbuscadelvalleencantado , and this is the account that I would like to downgrade.

The enbuscadelvalleencantado account you are contacting us from is a user on enbuscadelvalleencantado.com.

However, the domain wasn’t purchased through your account — which is why it isn’t listed on your Manage Purchases page. You would see the upgrades list there if they had been purchased and were therefore owned by your account.

Which account do you expect me to log in?

You will need to log out of enbuscadelvalleencantado, then log back in to WordPress.com using the email address the purchase receipt was sent to.

If you don’t have access to a receipt but you paid for the last renewal, you can send the transaction ID through the account recovery form as proof of ownership (please do not share that information here though).

what is going to happen when I stop paying the renewal of my plan? will the blog go away?

If the upgrades for enbuscadelvalleencantado.com expire, the site will revert back to its free address (loquerealmenteimporta.wordpress.com). There is no guarantee you will be able to register the domain again once it has expired so as staff-zinnia mentioned, letting enbuscadelvalleencantado.com expire should be considered a permanent action.

Thanks, then I am fine letting it expiring and reverting back to loquerealmenteimporta.wordpress.com

    Thanks for your help!
