Downgrade WordPress Business

  We paid for WordPress Business and are still within 30 day period where we can receive our money back. We had to migrate our site to a different host for a variety of reasons, but once it was migrated, I was no longer given the option to receive a refund on WordPress Business. Trying to figure out how to contact WordPress directly regarding this issue. Any help would be appreciated!

  Hi!

  If the purchase is still not older than 30 days, you should be able to cancel this and receive a refund on this page https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

  Although, note that if you bought a domain alongside, the refund for the domain will not be processed, if the purchase is older than 48 hours. WordPress.com has the refund terms mentioned here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

  Ok thank you! Unfortunately, my purchases don’t show up any longer – even though I have purchase transaction receipts AND WordPress conversations with Happiness Engineers from before site migration saved in my email (they also assuring me about the money back guarantee) …but once the site was officially switched I no longer had access the WordPress Business account.

  Yes, I’m thinking the issue is that I should have downgraded WP Business before our site was migrated, but I was worried that if I downgraded too quickly, the site wouldn’t migrate to the new host properly. And since WordPress Business allowed for live chatting, with it gone now, I don’t have that option for tech support.

  Anyway, as a non-techy person…haha, just doing my best to frantically figure out how to save $299!

  Hi there,

  The purchases may not be showing up because you are under a different account than the one used to purchase the upgrades. Have you tried logging into the other WordPress.com account to cancel the upgrades and receive a refund? What is the URL of the site that is connected to the upgrades?
