Downgrading to a free site after you’ve upgraded to a premier site.

If you upgrade and decide to cancel it and revert back to your old plan, will your domain name revert back to your old name or do you have to begin all over again with rebuilding a brand new site?

You will have the option to keep your domain name, which would deduct $18 from your refund.
If you cancel all of it, including the domain name, your site will revert to its free subdomain.

Thank you, Mac! I have a follow-up question. If I revert back to my free site, will content, save special features that come with the upgrade, remain? And one more question–if I were to switch themes, does content transfer from the old site into the new site, or do you start from scratch? Thank you so much!

@ecopsycart if you upgrade to Premium, yes, all of your content will remain the same. And generally you can use any of our themes while still keeping the same content, though they do have different configurations on how they display things.
If you upgrade to Business and then decide to downgrade, please contact support rather than attempting to downgrade on your own.
That way we can take a look and determine what content will remain after you downgrade. Content you’ve added through plugins, for example, can be harder to port over. Once you add plugins and outside themes, downgrading gets more complex.
