Download a theme for my self-hosted site problem

  I’d like to download the Cols theme for hosting on my own site but after clicking on the ‘Login to WordPress.com to download Cols for your self-hosted WordPress site.’ link and logging in I just get returned to the same page and the link hasn’t changed to a download link (which I’m given to understand it should do).

  Am I doing something wrong?

  I think you have confused WordPress.com and WordPress.org. Here is a graph highlighting the differences. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Thanks for responding…

  I know the difference and I was surprised that there was a link on the WordPress.com theme page to download the theme but the offer is there, it just doesn’t seem to be working –

  I noticed a previous post from last year that detailed the same problem and the person who responded gave the poster a direct link.
