I cannot download my images that are no more than 308 KB and my library is not full. It is used only at 15%.
Can someone help me?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you running a browser and version of it found at http://browsehappy.com? If not, upgrade.
Have you tried dragging an image straight from your desktop or computer’s image folder and drop it directly into your post’s editor?
If you prefer you can click on the Add Media button from the toolbar of your editor to upload an image to your post.

Do you mean “upload images”? You are trying to move images from your computer to your WordPress.com site, not move them from your WordPress.com to your computer, correct?
What happens when you try? Are you getting an error message?

When I try to put an image of my computer to wordpress, I see that there is the loading but the image does not appear. No error message appears. I tried reduced formats again today and nothing works. 4 days ago I managed to load an image and I thought everything was back to normal. But since, nothing.
I am also registered on the official website of “Plume de poète” and it is the same problem. -
What happens if you try another browser? Firefox or safari? Do you have any browser extensions or plugins running?
You might also try clearing your browser’s cache. That can solve image upload issues.

I tried with another browser “edge”, and with another computer. Same problem. I cleaned all my caches.
If I host an image on my google + account I can put an image on my posts through the url link. This is my only option since early December. -

All problems have appeared with the new version of the download.
The old download version no longer works since the same date. When I try to download, the wheel turns but nothing happens.
The images I try to download are pictures I took with my camera and that I have reduced to 1024 x 720 or smaller.The problem is also the same on my blog photographs.

We are not hearing other reports of this issue which typically points to something on your computer system or network.
One thing to try might be use the WordPress desktop app instead and see if that makes a difference:

Another path to try might be to see if this happens if you use a completely different computer/network to log into your site. A computer at your job, or a friends house or a local library. If it works on one of those computers, but not your personal computer, that would point to something on your computer or network blocking the upload for some reason.

Once had a similiar problem. Deleting EXIF- Dates from the pics and everything runs nice.

I did it. For now I test different ways by removing things on my blog. By proceeding by elimination I will end up getting there.
Then I’ll load the Destock version to see what happens. I will keep you informed in the next few days.For 3ddasdaggiding: Thanks for the information but my problem does not come from there.

Hi @lgyslaine, I see you were able to upload a picture today. Was that through the desktop version?
Also you mentioned you had tried another computer. Are your computers configured the same way / same settings? I’m wondering if there’s an application or extension that’s blocking uploads.

Also @lgyslaine can you confirm which site you’re struggling with?
Also, please be careful about deleting images. I would encourage you to be very careful — only delete files you don’t want to display on your site anymore. If you delete images you’re using, they will show a blank box on the site. Is that what you’re experiencing?

I am currently working on my main blog of poems and I work in parallel on the blog photographs that is attached to it. I think there is a link between the two. I will give you all results as soon as I am sure. But I think I’m working in the right direction.
To answer your question, yes I also worked on another computer completely independent of it and the difficulties encountered remain the same. So I deduce that the problem is only related to my blog.

Here is the result of my research to the problem of loading images on my main blog and on the photographic blog that was attached to it.
I’ve completely deleted the blog for photos, for the following reason: Although WordPress resizes images for display, images downloaded in formats greater than those authorized by the site, slow down the site tremendously and after a few years end up Block new downloads.
I now manage to upload the images to my main blog of poems.I do not know for now if I will open again my blog of photographs
