Download List of "WordPress.com Followers"
-
I am currently self hosted BUT… I have a list of about 50 “WordPress.com Followers” on my site. I’m trying to export these emails in order to connect to a Mailchimp Campaign and can’t seem to access a CSV option. Is there any way to download a list of these “WordPress.com Followers”? (SO to clarify… these followers have been transferred to the self-hosted site, but I cannot export this list of emails…) My site is http://www.ciburbanity.com
Thanks!

Hi Charlotte,
If you have Jetpack subscribers, you can export the current list by visiting Jetpack->Site Stats and clicking on the Blog followers link in the lower-left corner.
On the E-Mail Followers page, there is a link to download the subscribers into a CSV format. You can import them to MailChimp (please note – if you have any issues with the import, MailChimp should be the ones to help you troubleshoot that).
Once they’re removed from Jetpack, you’ll want to deactivate the Subscriptions module so those who subscribed aren’t getting notifications twice.

Hi Grace,
I have my email subscribers all set… it’s the specific wordpress.com followers list that is problematic. It may be as simple as there aren’t emails for this list…. hence no option to download a CSV. -
Hi there,
You can move your subscribers from your .com site to your Jetpack self-hosted site through this support guide:
http://jetpack.me/support/subscription-migration-tool/
Then you should be able to export them!

Yeah… I can’t export the subset of 50+ WordPress.com Followers… Only the 200+ email-only subscribers. I have all my subscribers over on the new site, but the CSV option isn’t there for the 50 wordpress followers. I guess these are the internal wordpress.com users and perhaps were able to subscribe without giving an email?

Oh I see. Yes sorry that wouldn’t be possible. You can export just the email subscribers. :)
