download media files

    I have to download the media files from my existing website. How can i do that in one go. Is there a way to download a zip or rar file to my local hard disk.

    It’s possible to bulk download the media files from your site, but it’s not a direct process.

    The basic process is to export your site content and then import it to a self hosted WordPress.org install. From there you can copy the image files from the web server.

    I’m happy to do this for you and send you the images in the zip file if you’d like. Let me know how you want to proceed and we’ll go from there.
