download my files via ftp or filemanager

Hi I just want to move my site to a new host and download all the wordpress files like usual. Is there a way I can do this for free and without a plan upgrade? my dashboard says I need a plan upgrade to use any of the file manager plugins. how would I get ftp access to use filezilla?

That’s not possible as the wordpress.com platform doesn’t work with files. The only way to move a wordpress.com site to a wordpress.org site, https://move.wordpress.com/
