  Hi, do i have to pay a bunch of fees to be able to download a theme i purchased through theme forest?

  hello there,

  because WordPress.com is a shared environment, there are strict limitations to third-party content you can integrate and install on your site for security reasons unless you are on a business plan or higher. These sites can be/are separated from the shared environment so you can then upload your own material including custom themes that are not in the WordPress.com directory of themes.
