Download Photos from XML File

  Hi There,

  I have an XML from an old wordpress site. I’m trying to get it all imported to Squarespace. But Squarespace doesn’t allow for media libraries so all of the images are getting stripped from the import. How can I access my images from an XML file so that I can download them and then upload them to Squarespace?

  Hi there, the XML file will not have the images in it. The images are typically pulled from the old site during the import process by the service you are importing to. Is the WordPress site still operational?

  Since the site you referenced was a self-hosted site and not hosted here at WordPress.com, the best place to seek help would be in the forums at WordPress.org.
