download/upload themes?

    I’ve installed wp to my webhost. Then I got an email stating to signup and I could download wp themes. I do this and download them to my harddrive. Now, I cannot find a way to upload the themes to my word press, or at least no explanation of how to do it.

    Why’d they have me download the themes to my HD if I can’t then upload and install them into wp?
